Louisville, KY - On Monday, November 15th the Bulldogs were back in action at Spalding University. Spalding is a NCAA DIII school in downtown Lousivlle. The Bulldogs came out a bit sluggish after a week off in their schedule. The first half the Bulldogs played solid tough defense holding Spalding to only 37 pts. But could not get it going on their offensive end as the team shot only 27% from the field while turning it over 12 times. Spalding was up 37-20 at the half. But this years tough minded Bulldogs didn't give up or give into the early deficit. The team was down 21 with 14:49 left on the clock in the second half. From that point on the Bulldogs battled hard and started knocking down some shots all the while getting turnovers and stops on the defensive end. The Bulldogs came all the way back to being down only 2 or 3 a couple of times late in the half. But in the end we ran out of gas and had to foul Spalding late. They were able to hang on to a tough fought game 70-63.
The Bulldogs were paced by:
- Trey Mollet who had 31 pts. (8-10 from deep), Brody Madeira chipped in 9 pts.
- Kevin Kirby and Brody Madeira both grabbed 6 boards each
- The Bulldogs ended the game with 11 steals - Trey Mollet leading with 5
- Jacob Shaw and Brody Madeira dished out 3 assists each
