Boyce College Welcomes New Head Volleyball Coach
Boyce College is excited to announce the hiring of Hanna Kennemer as the new head coach of the Women's Volleyball program. Coach Kennemer is a former college athlete at the NCCAA DII level. She brings a strong background in coaching and a wealth of experience to the team.
Coach Kennemer played volleyball and basketball throughout high school, choosing to continue playing basketball while in college. She was an NCCAA All-Region and All-American during her playing days. After college, Coach began coaching multiple club teams and a high school team for four seasons in Idaho. Known for her love for the Lord, commitment to grow her athletes in all areas, and passion for the game, Coach Kennemer is eager to get to work with the team.
"We are thrilled to welcome Hanna Kennemer to the Boyce College family," said Director of Athletics Coach McCarty. "Hanna's love for the Lord and desire to impact our student-athletes spiritually and physically stood out. She also brings an enthusiasm for and understanding of NCCAA DII volleyball."
A native of Twin Falls, ID, Kennemer played at Clearwater Christian College and Marantha Baptist University. She finished her 2 year career at MBU in the top 15 of multiple all-time records.
Kennemer holds degrees in Exercise and Sports Science and Biology. She has experience in athletic training and sports medicine.
Kennemer replaces Jackie Stephens, who is moving with her husband, Alec, for a new ministry position in South Carolina.
